I have a great love for literature, the power and possibilities of words, and the world of the imagination. My short stories and poetry for adults have been published in magazines and anthologies, and placed in competitions. I have had my children’s poetry in reading and literacy publications, and short stories broadcast on the radio. In my job in education, I have scripted for plays for performance for local productions. Also for many years I have been involved with library events and literature activities in the county.
I have tutored writing workshops in Northamptonshire over the years, and edited and produced anthologies of stories and poems. In this work I have enabled students to develop their writing skills, and publish their work or achieve their own writing aims.
